Fri 2nd &

Sat 3rd

Churches Together  have been given the opportunity to hold a ‘Food Drive’ at Boldon ASDA

For the collection we would need a minimum of four people at any one time, so we could do up to six hours split into a minimum  of three two hour shifts.

Ideally we would have 12 volunteers each day, so in total we are looking at 24 volunteers across the two days.

We would also need some drivers to ferry the donations back to Boldon Lane on the Friday and potentially store donations from the Saturday until Monday morning.

If you would like to volunteer - contact Jo directly / or text to  07841 143482, with preference of date and time slots, which are suggest as 10am-12pm, 12pm-2pm and 2-4pm. We can obviously extend this if we have a good response.

Thank you for your help in advance.

Happy at Home - a Churches Together project supporting frail elderly people, has been selected as a green token charity for the next three months in Asda South Shields.

If you do any shopping here please ask at the checkouts for a handful of green tokens and pop them in our box at the bottom of the escalators. They do not give them out automatically you have to specifically ask for them!

The more tokens we get the bigger the share of the pot they will get.
